Why I Have A Blog

Seems like a pretty simple question to answer, totally reasonable in its curiosity, right? Well for the first two years I couldn’t answer that question about jtrigsby.com. At first, I got the domain just to have the domain. There was a web site there, just a tinker toy for me to piddle with from time to time.

As time went by, I decided to give making money online a serious effort. After several all-nighters reading websites & blogs and watching endless videos, it seemed clear that the way to make money online included blogs. And so, jtrigsby.com was reborn as a blog in June 2007. Little did I know what I was in for.

Now, a few years down the road and many bumps, bruises, and scars later, I know much more than when jtrigsby.com became a blog. That educations hasn’t been cheap either. There have been many products and services and website memberships and more that I’ve tried in an effort to ferret out the best ways to make money online. Over time, I have written about some of them, now I’m dedicating myself to writing about them more, transforming jtrigsby.com into a new site.

One of the key functions a blog can serve for its owner is that of a connection hub, a central place to call home in their online experience. Several people have used the analogy of your blog being like you home online… and that’s what I’d like jtrigsby.com to be… my home online.

So lets call this home schooling… the online way! If jtrigsby.com is my online home and I have tons of valuable information to share with folks at different stages of their online experience, then jtrigsby.com must be a learning center as well. Drawing on years of online experience, I will be putting educational materials online and making them available at little or no charge so you can improve you own online experience.
