Rod I agree 110%!

The TOOLS of social media are NOT social media, they are just that, tools that help us extend the conversation beyond our physical boundaries. If we try to limit our connections to just those blips on the screen, we are relegating ourselves loneliness in a crowd of millions.

Of course, I'm pretty bad about it myself. I'll pop out a quick tweet or email when a phone call or Skype would be even more awesome. We all have to be careful to not lose perspective... or connections.

It was indeed my pleasure to meet you, just one of the many added benefits of making the trip up to Memphis. Next time I'll stay a little longer and you can point me toward more of that wonderful Memphis BBQ! Lets talk soon.

@jtrigsby

J - you're too awesome! I absolutely loved Social Camp Memphis, it was my first but won't be my last. Social media CAN NOT exist online only . . . it ruins the whole point behind it. It's about connection and engaging with people you could not have done in any other way. And I was more than blessed to have made so many connections and of course, meeting you. Thank you sir for the fresh memories!
